The Snow on the Mountain, 'Aegopodium podagraria Variegatum', also known as Bishop Weed, is one of the most popular groundcovers on the market today. With its variegated foliage, it is one of a kind. ‘Snow on the Mountain’ forms a quick, dense, weed-proof carpet that is easy to grow even in difficult conditions. It should be planted in full sun but will tolerate morning shade. Geranium - Spring Time The Geranium Springtime, Geranium phaeum 'Springtime' (PP13,785), has purple colored flowers that blooms all summer long. Springtime can be planted in full sun to partial shade. For best results, plant in a dry to average moisture area and make sure the site is well-drained. Springtime has vareigated foliage in the spring and tolerates dry shade better than most geraniums. The Geranium family is well known for its stunning fall colors that include reds, oranges, and yellows. It is a superb plant for cottage gardens, container growing, borders or informal borders in mass plantings. There is an attaction to bees and butterflies and it is very disease and deer resistant. A great plant for a beginner gardener.
