Hello!

My name is Helmut Friedrich and this is my Gardening Blog. I live in the Pacific Northwest on beautiful Vancouver Island. I do not have the “biggest” lot, but I make the most of it.

The goal of this blog is for me to share my passion with the world, and also to provide tips I’ve learned through my own experiences, reading books or doing.

It’s winter right now, and so there isn’t alot of gardening to be done, so don’t expect a lot of activity here until spring comes, at which time I hope to post at least once a week. I plan to cover both gardening in soil and hydroponic.

Oh, and I garden in Zone 8 (Pacific Northwest)
