No papers, warranty, or directions in the box. Edger performed well, but do not believe it is “NEW.” You may only need this edger once or twice a year, but it takes the drudgery out of what used to be a dreaded chore. Last year, I needed this! The product is very light weight and easy to manage. Blade cuts well and is easy to maneuver.

One thing that’s nice is the adjustable depth but don’t count on it being accurate. As soon as the blade wears some, it’s worthless for that. The sparks may come out when your blade hits concrete, but what else would you expect? The product is easy to operate and has enough of oomph to get a trenching/edging job a breeze. I have used a gas edger for years. In an effort to appease my “Green” wife, when it came time to replace the old edger I went with the B&D after reading all the reviews.

This unit wasn’t inexpensive…paid about $80.00. I’m going to spend a couple hundred and but a quality edger.

Better than anticipated. It cuts through sod with ease.

I was a bit leery of an electric edger, thinking it might not have the power to do the job. But after reading many of the reviews here decided to take a chance.

I read reviews on this particular Black and Decker model and it seemed to be the best for the price. After looking at area stores I found this one on Amazon for less money. I highly recommend the B&D Edge Hog. It’s easy to use.

First time using it was awkward, but once I got the hang of it it worked great. Have only used it twice, but 2nd time was a breeze.

I’ve only used the Edge Hog twice since getting it this week but it’s been fantastic. I haven’t edged my property for about 10-11 years and the sidewalks were overgrown with grass, vines, and branches from bushes covering up to two feet of the sidewalks. I am amazed how well this little machine can cut through the toughest overgrowth (6″) on my driveway. I had no problem handling it. Killed my back for years. I’m over 6′ 2″ and the weed eater version killed my back and took almost two hours to edge with.

However, my husband insists on a gas edger at 4 times the price, so I gave it to a friend as a gift. CAR RUST REPAIR.
