Coral Bell - Key Lime Pie

The Coral Bells 'Key Lime Pie', 'Heuchera 'Dolce Key Lime Pie' PPAF', is a new and exciting variety in the coral bell family. This foliage on this particular Heuchera is stunning all year long. For best results, 'Key Lime Pie' should be planted in full sun in the north, but generally prefers full shade in the south. It is not known for the flowers it produces but it will attract hummingbirds at bloom time. Use this coral bells as a ground cover, in rock gardens, as a border plant or as an edger along paths and walkways. 'Key Lime Pie' should not be left out of any shade perennial garden. Snow in Summer The Cerastium ‘Snow in Summer’, Cerastium tomentosum, is a wonderful bright-white, star shaped flower that blooms from last spring to early summer. It may have the tendency to spread but has no serious pests and diseases. ‘Snow in Summer’ has a plant height of 4” with a plant spread of 6-12”. This easy to grow perennial requires full sun and will grow in dry to moist soils that are well drained. One should sheer back ‘Snow in Summer’ after flowering to keep it clean and compact and to keep from spreading. For a perennial that can be planted anywhere, ‘Snow in Summer’ is the way to go.
