Daisy - Butterfly

The Daisy Butterfly, 'Argyranthemum frutescens', is a fantastic release from Proven Winners. The Daisy 'Butterfly' is a heat-tolerant marguerite Daisy with oomph. 'Butterfly' produces canary-yellow flowers throughout the summer ­ even without deadheading. Daisy's require a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil and should be kept well watered in the summer. Daisy's may be used as a cut flower and they are excellent in window boxes, pots, and rock gardens. The Daisy is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds, plus they are resistant to deer. These Daisys are winter hardy to USDA Zones 10-11 and they are grown as an annual in other cooler climatic zones. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional bloom. Geranium - Black Magic The Geranium Black Magic, 'Pelargonium x peltatum', is an ivy geranium that has beautiful dark purple flowers. Geraniums are a favorite bedding and container plant and are grown in almost every region of the country. These plants have succulent leaves and stems and they are commonly called garden geraniums, zonal geraniums or ivy geraniums. They are excellent in containers of all types from small pots to large tubs to window boxes and combine well with other plants such as petunias and ivies. Plant in ordinary well-drained soil. Over fertilization results in excessive foliage and few flowers. Pinching of the shoots will promote bushiness Remove spent flowers to enhance flowering.
