Daisy - Yellow Buttons

The Daisy Yellow Buttons, 'Chrysanthemum multicaule', has delightful masses of buttery, golden-yellow flowers atop mats of fleshy, succulent green foliage. You will be delighted with this low growing annual groundcover that has masses of pretty little 1/2 to 3/4 inch daisy-like, cup-shaped flowers. Yellow Buttons bloom continually from spring to fall with the best blooming occurring during the cool weather of spring and fall. The Yellow Buttons Daisy prefers full sun and average garden soil that is well drained. Keep them well watered but not soggy. Plant these easy to grow daisies in the spring, 2 weeks before the last average frost date. Besides an annual groundcover, the Yellow Buttons can be used as a cut flower and it is excellent in window boxes, pots, and rock gardens. ... more info

Eggplant - Bambino The Eggplant Baby Bambino, 'Solanum melongena (Hybrid)', is a baby eggplant with 1" fruits! The Bambino is great hors d'oeuvres, shish-kabobs and other eggplant dishes. It is also an attractive ornamental. In addition to not having the bitter flavor that some full-sized eggplants have, Bambino is a tasty and attractive addition to your garden. They are often used as a vegetarian substitute for expensive meats. Ground temperature needs to very warm for seed to germinate. If nighttime temperatures drop below 60 degrees, the fruit will not set. Eggplant prefers rich, deep, loose soils with large amounts of organic material. Provide 1 inch of water a week if it does not rain.
