Winning the Stout Silver Medal in 1998, the Award of Merit in 1996 and Honorable Mention in 1993, one can see why. ‘Strawberry Candy’ will bloom from May through July, with outstand color and a definite reblommer. ‘Strawberry Candy’ prefers a full sun area that is well-drained. Although the blooms will last only for one day, there are many blooms on strong stems that rise above tall grassy foliage, (remove in late fall). ‘Mary Todd’ is considered to be pest and deer resistant.
