The Delphinium blooms from late spring into early summer and they bloom for 3 to 6 weeks. The Pacific Giant Delphinium prefers full sun and rich, moist, well drained soil. When flowers begin to fade , cut back the stalks and fertilize immediately. A second set of spikes may occur and bloom in late summer or early fall.
