Aster - Professor Kippenburg ‘Professor Kippenburg’, blooming in the early fall till frost, is a definite butterfly and bird attractor. ‘Professor Kippenburg’ looks great in borders and mass plantings. Aster ‘Professor Kippenburg’ does require full sun, but can take some afternoon shade, in a moderate soil range with good drainage that does not become extremely dry during the summer.
