Evening Primrose - Glowing Magenta

The Evening Primrose, Glowing Magenta, 'Oenothera kunthiana', is a new Oenothera unlike any other. The deep pink flowers stand out against its deep green foliage. It has a plant height of 6” and a spread of 5-10”. ‘Glowing Magenta’ is unusually compact for its species and has an extremely long flowering time, (June to September. ) Oenothera requires full sun and needs a good drainage site. Try planting ‘Glowing Magenta’ with Salvia, Achillea or Columbine. For a wonderful sun ground cover, one will not want to leave ‘Glowing Magenta’ out of their garden. ... find out more

 

Dianthus - Cranberry Ice The Dianthus Cranberry Ice, Dianthus 'Cranberry Ice' (PPAF), has intricately patterned 1 1/2 inch pink flowers with a purple eye and pink frilled edge with mounded blue-green foliage. It is heat and drought tolerant for short periods however produces the best foilage and flowers in areas not so warm and dry. It is truly a great addition to any perennial garden and is a favorit as a border plant or in rock gardens.
