Fuchsia - Wilma Verslot

The Fuchsia Wilma Verslot, 'Fuchsia hybrid', is a heat tolerant hybrid. Talk about tough, European gardeners actually grow these varieties in full sun. Along with outstanding heat tolerance, they also feature upright growth habits, lovely single flowers, and fantastic colors. The Wilma Verslot has impressive single blooms that feature crimson sepals and royal purple corollas. This Proven Selections plant blooms all summer long. They are great plants for greenhouses, window boxes, baskets, homes, and flower beds. The flowers, which are produced during the summer and early fall, are droopy and come in many colors. Fuschia is one of the Hummingbirds favorite flowers. Fuchsias do not like to dry out. Keep the soil moist to the touch from spring through autumn. In many parts of the country (and especially if planted in a hanging pot) the fuchsia will require daily watering. For zones 8-11, this plant can also be a perennial. ... additional information
