Geranium - Bravo

The Geranium Bravo, 'Pelargonium x hortorum', displays beautiful dark pink flowers that is a winner with any gardner. Geraniums are a favorite bedding and container plant and are grown in almost every region of the country. These plants have succulent leaves and stems and they are commonly called garden geraniums or zonal geraniums. The Bravo geranium is distinguished by it's dark pink flowers. They are excellent in containers of all types from small pots to large tubs to window boxes and combine well with other plants such as petunias and ivies. Geraniums are one of your best choices for use in hanging baskets. Plant in ordinary well-drained soil. Overfertilization results in excessive foliage and few flowers. Streptocarpella - Blue The Streptocarpella Blue, 'Streptocarpella' is a shade loving member of the African Violet family. Streptocarpella is a small, tender basket plant from southern Africa that quickly grows to 8 - 12 inches tall with a spread of 12 inches across. Streptocarpella should be grown in a well drained, organic potting mix in either a hanging basket, window box, or decorative container. Hummingbirds find this plant irresistable. Streptocarpella Blue are absolutely great for baskets and pots. In warmer zones this plant can also be a perennial.
