Geranium - Bravo Pastel
The Geranium Bravo Pastel, 'Pelargonium x hortorum', displays beautiful pastel pink flowers with a white eye that is a winner in any gardner. This exciting unique color was a 2003 University of Tennessee Top Performer. Geraniums are a favorite bedding and container plant and are grown in almost every region of the country. These plants have succulent leaves and stems and they are commonly called garden geraniums or zonal geraniums. They are excellent in containers of all types from small pots to large tubs to window boxes and combine well with other plants such as petunias and ivies. Geraniums are one of your best choices for use in hanging baskets. Plant in ordinary well-drained soil. Over fertilization results in excessive foliage and few flowers. Licorice The Licorice, White Licorice, 'Helichrysum petiolare', exhibits vigorous growth and elegant silver-frosted foliage. This plant will let you do a little to get a lot. Licorice plants are exceptionally easy to grow, requiring little fertilizer. The Petite Licorice has fine foliage and is a compact grower. This plant is an excellent choice for hanging baskets or mixed containers. It's especially useful in mixed containers as it tends to grow outward which makes a planter or basket look larger. Licorice do best in a well drained soil, either in beds or containers. White Licorice produces small flowers that are insignificant and can be removed.
