The Geranium ‘Johnson's Blue’, Geranium x 'Johnson's Blue', has rich sky-blue flowers that fade to pear gray as they mature, blooming from June till August. Thy Royal Horticultural Society gave a prestigious Award of Garden n Merit (AGM) to ‘Johnson’s Blue’, and one can see why. With its beautiful dark green foliage, it has a plant width of 23-27” and a height of 18”. ‘Johnson's Blue’ needs to be cut back in early summer for repeat bloom time in the fall. ‘Johnson's Blue’ Geranium, being drought tolerant, needs a full sun area with some shade in the afternoon. For best results, plant in a dry to moist area in a well-drained site. The Geranium family is well known for its stunning fall colors that include reds, oranges, and yellows. It is a superb plant for cottage gardens, container growing, borders or informal borders in mass plantings. There is an attraction to bees and butterflies and it is very disease and deer resistant. Geranium - Southcombe Double Southcombe Double blooms almost non-stop throughout the summer, into fall. Geraniums are grown in almost any soil as long as it is not wet. They do best in sun, but will tolerate some degree of shade. This plant would look wonderful in a pot on a sun-drenched porch and is also deer resistant.
