Hosta - Aureomarginata
The Hosta Aureomarginata, Hosta fortunei, has a heart-shaped deep green foliage with a yellow band. The purple flowers bloom from July to August, however, Hosta’s are not known only for their flowers. With a plant height of 18” and a spread of 36-48”, Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage. Hosta ‘Aureomarginata’ needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained area. Clematis - Alan Bloom ‘Alan Bloom’s’ fluffy seed heads make it even more attractive. It has a plant height of 30” with a spread of 36”. Clematis prefers full sun but will tolerate shade in the morning in a well-drained area. It will flower more heavily if in full sun. |
