Hosta - Francee
The Hosta ‘Francee’, Hosta fortunei, has heart-shaped dark green leaves with narrow yellow changing to white margins. The lavender flowers bloom from July to August, however, Hosta’s are not known only for their flowers. With a plant height of 18” and a spread of 36-48”, Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage. Hosta ‘Francee’ needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained area. Bellflower - Bowl of Cherries The Bellflower, 'Campanula ‘Bowl of Cherries’, has showy, compact cherry-red flowers with dark green foliage. This ground cover is best used in rock gardens, as an edging or in tubs and post. ‘Bowl of Cherries’ blooms from early summer to late spring and will sometimes repeat flowering in autumn. ‘Blue Waterfall should be planted in full sun, but will tolerate morning shade and will do well in all types of soil.
