Hosta - Guacamole
The Hosta Guacamole, Hosta 'Guacamole', is a medium sized hosta that has yellowish leaves with a wid green margin and stems producing white colored flowers. The white flowers of this fast growing hosta bloom in late summer, however, hosta’s are not known for their flowers. Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage and Guacamole is no exception. Guacamole needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained spot. Bleeding Heart - Aurora Dicentra ‘Aurora’ has a plant height of 14” and a width of 20”. Dicentra should be planted in full sun but will tolerate morning shade. It is heat tolerant and needs moist soil. Do not let it dry out. Dicentra will bloom from May to September and is a major attractor to butterflies. Being an old fashioned plant, it is a must in any landscape. |
