Hosta - Touch of Class

The Hosta Touch of Class, Hosta 'Touch of Class' (PP13,080), is a sport of the well known variety June only has leaves that are more upright. It is a small sized hosta that has dark blue leaves with a yellow gold flame in the leaf center. The lavender flowers of this slow growing hosta bloom in mid summer, however, hosta’s are not known for their flowers. Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage and Touch of Class is no exception. Touch of Class needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained spot. Lavender - Violet Intrigue The Lavender Violet Intrigue, Lavender angustifolia 'Violet Intrigue' (PP15,344), is probably the best lavender on the market today. It has beautiful violet flowers on upright stems and has a longer blooming season than all other lavenders. Violet Intrigue blooms in mid summer and has a plant height of 24". It is extremely fragrant which is usually the reason that gardeners grow the flower. It makes a great short hedge or stand alone in any perennial garden.
