The Impatien New Guinea Celebration Purple Improved, 'New Guinea Impatien', displays beautiful purple colored flowers. Shade plants are hard to find and New Guenea Impatiens fill that niche with vibrant beauty. The Celebration series has been bred to be grower friendly with very large flowers. They are great for baskets or even gallon pots and landscapes. Impatiens are a low maintainence flower but do require frequent waterings. Place in moist but not wet, well-drained soil. Licorice - Petite The Licorice, Petite Licorice, 'Helichrysum petiolare', has cool dusty white leaves. This plant will let you do a little to get a lot. Licorice plants are exceptionally easy to grow, requiring little fertilizer. The Petite Licorice has fine foliage and is a compact grower. This plant is an excellent choice for hanging baskets or mixed containers. Licorice do best in a well drained soil, either in beds or containers. Petite Licorice produces small flowers that are insignificant and can be removed. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial. |
