Iris - Well Endowed

The Iris Well Endowed, Iris x germanica 'Well Endowed' is a fragrant reblooming bearded iris that has yellow flowers. With a velvety texture and beautiful sword-shaped foliage, it has a plant height of 35”. Well Endowed blooms in the spring and then again in the fall. It prefers average, well-drained soil. Well Endowed prefers full sun, but will tolerate a little afternoon shade. It will make a great addition around pools, ponds and water gardens, and for mass plantings. Mullein - Copper Rose The Verbascum Copper Rose, 'Verbascum hybridum', also known as Mullein, has masses of silky blooms that range in color from apricot to rose to copper, making it different from the rest. The foliage is soft and silver, which adds contrast to the flower color. ‘Copper Rose’ has a plant height of 3-4’ and a plant spread of 1-2’ and blooms from late spring into summer. Removing spent flowers to encourage additional bloom time. This low maintenance perennial requires dry to medium soil and should be planted in full sun for best results. Verbascum will tolerate a wide range of soil conditions but must have good drainage or it could be fatal. ‘Copper Rose’ can be planted in rocky slopes to add color, as a border plant or in cottage gardens.
