Lantana - Patriot Honeylove

The Lantana Patriot Honeylove, 'Lantana "Patriot" Honeylove', is an annual shrub like plant that will produce beautiful bright pink, butter yellow, and ivory flowers. Lantana is an excellent choice for beds or containers. The Honeylove Lantana has attractive foliage and the foliage is topped with vividly colored flowers. The brightly colored flowers of Lantana are excellent for attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. Plant Lantanas in full sun and well drained soil in either beds or containers. Lantana prefers moist soil, but is drought tolerant. Pinch off spent flowers to promote new flower growth. All Lantana's contain a toxin that if ingested may cause stomach discomfort. Some contact with foliage may irritate sensitive skin. The Lantana is also commonly called a Shrub Verbena. All Lantana's are tough, resilient plants that thrive in hot weather and bloom profusely from spring until frost. ... more information

 

Geranium - Maverick Appleblossom The Geranium Maverick Appleblossom, 'Pelargonium x hortorum', is a unique variety that offers beautiful soft pink double flowers, complemented by distinct leaf zoning and an upright growth habit. The Appleblossom has excellent vigor and great landscape performance. They make large, full-sized plants and are very showy in ground beds and containers with their large, colorful pink blooms. Geraniums are a favorite bedding and container plant and are grown in almost every region of the country. These plants have succulent leaves and stems and they are commonly called garden geraniums or zonal geraniums. They are excellent in containers of all types from small pots to large tubs to window boxes and combine well with other plants such as petunias and ivies. Over fertilization results in excessive foliage and few flowers. Fertilize lightly every 2 weeks. Pinching of the shoots will promote bushiness. Remove spent flowers to enhance flowering.
