The Nasturtium Whirlybird Mix, 'Tropaeolum majus', has large 2 to 2. 5 inch blooms that face upwards. Growing upwards of 2 feet, this beautiful traditional plant with its "lilly pad" like leaves is a real conversation starter. These beautiful, many colored nasturtiums are easy to grow. They provide fast color to beds, planters, and patio pots. Whirlybird Mix flowers from June through September. The flowers are shades of rose, tangerine, mahogany, scarlet, and gold. Pansy - Purple Rain The Pansy Purple Rain, 'Viola x wittrockianais', is most unique in that it is a mounding, cascading pansy, perfect as a border plant in the landscape or ideally suited to baskets, planters and window boxes. The dark purple flowers with hints of blue in the center make it an attractive choice for gardeners. The Purple Rain Pansy pansy reachs heights of 12 to 18 inches without a leggy look. The small purple flowers "cascade" over the spreading, well-mounded plants. This free flowering variety that is ideal for hanging baskets, flower towers, pouches, and groundcovers. It is the most cold tolerant pansy available with excellent overwintering capabilities.
