The Obedient Plant Physostegia ‘Vivid’, 'Physostegia virginiana', has deep pink cup shaped flowers that are 24” tall and a plant spread of 18-24”. ‘Vivid’ blooms from June to September and the waxy, green leaves make this plant a little different from other white blooming perennials. ‘Vivid’ needs a full sun area but will tolerate some afternoon shade, in well-drained soil. Use ‘Vivid’ in borders, mixed plantings, massed plantings (especially to separate other colors), in large containers or as cut flowers. Foamy Bells - Stoplight The Coral Bell Stoplight, 'Heuchera ‘Stoplight’, has unique yellow and red centered leaves in the spring and in the summer, colors vary from yellow to green with red centers. In the springtime, dense white flowers appear that last into the summer. However, Coral Bells are not known for their flowers, but their foliage. ‘Stoplight’ has a plant spread of 1’ and a height of 6-8”. It is best to grow ‘Stoplight’ in medium wet, well-drained soils, in full shade. (It can tolerate some morning sun. ) ‘Stoplight’ look especially good around the edge of borders, near variegated plants, woodland edges, rock gardens, perennial borders, or in mass to form an attractive ground cover.
