Penstemon - Red Rocks
The Penstemon ‘Red Rock’, Penstemon x mexicale, has constant small, bright, rich, magenta flowers that bloom all summer long with narrow, lance-shaped evergreen foliage. ‘Red Rock’ has a plant height of 15” and a spread of 12”. It is best to plant Penstemon in a full sun location, having a moist, well-drained area. Being drought tolerant, ‘Red Rock’ looks great in a perennial border, in a naturalized setting, in rock gardens or for cuttings. Iris - Autumn Circus The Iris Autumn Circus, Iris 'Autumn Circus' is a ruffled petal iris that has white flowers with blue purple veining and a beautiful blue ruffled edge. With a velvety texture and beautiful evergreen foliage, it has a plant height of 34” and a width of 18-24”. Autumn Circus blooms in June and then, unlike most iris, blooms again in late summer and into fall. It is an easily grown Iris. Autumn Circus prefers moist, well-drained soil in full sun, but will tolerate some afternoon shade. This Iris needs plenty of water throughout the season to continue to looks its best. Autumn Circus will make a great addition around pools, ponds and water gardens, and for mass plantings. It can also be used in difficult banks and preventing erosion. They also make magnificent cut flowers and are resistant to deer. |
