The Phlox Junior Dance®, Phlox paniculata 'Junior Dance®' (PP16,059), has fragrant pink flowers with white centers on a compact free-branching habit. It is one the Phlox Junior series that contain mildew resistant plants. Blooming all summer long, it has a plant height of 18-22”. As a definite addition to any perennial garden, it attracts butterflies and provides a mainstay of summer color. Junior Dance® needs to be planted in a full sun area in well-drained soil. Oxeye - Loraine Sunshine The Heliopsis Loraine Sunshine, 'Heliopsis helianthiodes', a Blooms of Bressingham plant, is a great combination of large, golden-yellow flowers and variegated foliage with green veins. Blooming from July till frost, this Heliopsis grows to 30”’ tall with a plant spread of 30”. This easy to grow perennial attracts butterflies and is deer resistant. ‘Loraine Sunshine’ needs to be grown in full sun, but can tolerate some afternoon shade. It can be planted in average, well-drained soil, but do not allow it to dry out. A wonderful addition to island beds or in the back or borders or as cut flowers. ‘Loraine Sunshine’ may be slow to appear in the spring, but the blooms persist long after other perennials have completed their show.
