Phlox - Red Riding Hood
The Phlox Red Riding Hood, Phlox paniculata 'Red Riding Hood', has beautiful red blossoms on compact dark green stems and is a major attractant of butterflies and hummingbirds. Blooming from mid to late summer, it has a plant height of 18-22” and is extremely mildew resistant. It is a definite addition to any perennial garden. Snow in Summer ‘Snow in Summer’ has a plant height of 4” with a plant spread of 6-12”. One should sheer back ‘Snow in Summer’ after flowering to keep it clean and compact and to keep from spreading. For a perennial that can be planted anywhere, ‘Snow in Summer’ is the way to go. |
