The Potentilla 'McKay's White', Potentilla fruiticosa 'McKay's White', is a gracefully mounded plant with flowers that are initially creamy-white, later becoming pure white. 'McKay's White' is a shrub with medium to dark green leaves. It is medium to coarse in texture, and is irregular, with a slight arching to its form. Flowers are single and individual, with a long bloom time. Sumac - Flameleaf The Flameleaf Sumac, Rhus copallina, is a shrub or occasionally a small tree. It is widespread in open uplands along fence rows and in waste places. It is a prolific sprouter after a fire. Leaves have a winged axis and turn flame red to dark purple in the fall, hence the common name.
