Pink Beauty Doublefile Viburnum, viburnum plicatum 'Pink Beauty', is a shrub for all seasons. This beauty has spring flowers that open white but quickly turn a beautiful shade of pink. Red fruit comes later in the season and proceeds the spectacular red-purple fall foliage. The most striking aspect of this shrub is it's double rows of lacey cymes. It is a horizontally branched shrub that requires full sun to partial shade; moist, well drained soil is best, but can tolerate some clay. Pink Beauty grows 5-8 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide. This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds. With its broad branches growing very horizontal, it gives the shrub a tiered appearance.
