Yarrow - Moonshine
The Yarrow ‘Moonshine’, Achillea 'Moonshine'’, is an upright canary-yellow flower that blooms from June through September. With evergreen foliage in mild winter regions, this non-spreading Achillea is a definite winner. ‘Moonshine’ Yarrow is unlike the common Yarrow, being shorter in height and less invasive. The flower heads are 4” wide, with a spread of 18-24” and a height of 24”. ‘Moonshine’ Yarrow is a great addition to a sunny perennial border, planted in pots or combined with ornamental grasses. ‘Moonshine’ Yarrow can tolerate poor soil conditions, but does best in lean, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil. (Avoid heavy clays and moist, rich, fertile soils. ) Yarrow should be planted in full sun and is tolerant to hot humid summers. This Iris blooms heavily in early summer. ‘Saturday Night Live’ is an attractive backdrop for your garden and it is an easily grown Iris. The Iris ‘Saturday Night Live’ prefers moist, well-drained soil in full sun, but will tolerate some afternoon shade. This Iris needs plenty of water throughout the season to continue to looks its best. Iris ‘Saturday Night Live’ is useful in many ways. Best used around pools, ponds and water gardens, and for mass plantings. It can also be used in difficult banks for preventing erosion.
